T minus 5 Days

TUESDAY EVENING, JUNE 25

It's just five days until we roll out of Maplewood on our cross-country odyssey...in our recently acquired 2010 Honda Odyssey.  Aytan's cousin Toby will be joining us for some or all of the trip, depending on how much of us and the road he can tolerate.

Most of the gear has been purchased and the CDs have been ripped (music snob that I am, compressed music on an iPod just won't do).  In terms of planning, well, let's just say we're leaving much of that to when we're on the road.  The only stop that is certain at this point is the tour at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater masterpiece, outside of Mill Run, PA, on Monday, July 1, for which I purchased tickets last week. Other than that, we're winging much of it.
